Lavanya Rastogi

President and Chief Mentor

Lavanya is a CoFounder of OSSCube and responsible for its global business strategy and market development initiatives. He is credited with being the architect of OSSCube’s global incubation and delivery model and integrated value chain capabilities. He is a Serial entrepreneur and management thought leader with experience and successful track record spanning Product Start-ups, IT Consulting, Education Research and Development and Investment Banking. Prior to co-creating OSSCube, Lavanya was the key move in setting up the Technology Consulting Practice of SCG which went on to be scaled up as Leading IT Services company with a market foot print across 24 countries. He has been often sought out and served on the boards, committees & initiatives of leading industry bodies like Advance Computing Society, AGBA, ICCBN, NASSCOM etc Often invited as a keynote speakers at international conferences, he has more than a dozen research publications to his credit and continues to serve on the editorial board of International Journals. Lavanya received the Emerging Technology Leader Award (VO, 2002) and Distinguished Young Entrepreneur Award (AGBA, 2009). He is also very passionate about non profit work and serves on the board of a Global Non Profit devoting significant amount of his time and talent to supporting project across USA, India, Africa and South America and leading CSR initiatives for OSSCube. A prolific reader, equally at home in designing global strategy and application architectures, Lavanya is passionate about Leadership Development across the ranks of OSSCube, and often referred to as the Chief Mentor of OSSCube Team.

Vineet Agrawal

Director – Alliances & Relations

Vineet is a CoFounder of OSSCube and responsible for its global alliances and business relations. He has been the principal architect of many successful partnerships that OSSCube has built with Open Source Technologies leaders like Zend, MySql, EDB, SugarCRM, Acquia etc to name a few. As a Serial Entrepreneur and Open Source evangelist, prior to co-creating OSSCube, Vineet co-founded one of the earliest Full Service Internet Companies back in the days of the ‘Shell accounts’ that went on to acquire a market footprint across 24 countries and several fortune 1000 accounts. He also has the credit of being one of the earliest minds and architects of the Open Source Product story, as the principal architect of an award winning open source eCRM solution that acquired 2.5Mn+ active users across the world. As a business leader he is highly respected for his sharp analytical abilities, challenging conventional thinking and innovative marketing strategies. He is passionate about Innovation and Customer Service excellence and can be seen eagerly engaging the young talents of OSSCube across its global locations. He has been the proud recipient of Distinguished Business Leader Award ( SCG, 2002) and Entrepreneurial King Ship Award (VO, 2009). Vineet is a prolific reader and has the penchant to distill his learning's into company wide best practices implementation that he has over the years consistently lead with great success. Shashin Shah

Managing Director - UK

Shashin is the driving force behind the strategy, business and operations of OSSCube in UK and its extended footprint in continental Europe. He is a creative and influential leader with 30+ years of experience in delivering business-aligned technology strategies, architectures and systems across a diverse range of industries and markets. Shashin has worked in Senior positions at Logica, Deloitte and Andersen and specialises in Enterprise Architecture and Open Source software for the enterprise. In 2005, Shashin moved on from his position of Director with Deloitte’s Technology Consulting practices and setup his first enterprenurial venture, One Point Consulting and was the key mover in bringing OSSCube to UK.

Always a volunteer at heart, Shashin devotes a significant amount of time in supporting nonprofit organization in adopting and leveraging technology. He holds a BTech (Hons.) in Computer Science.

Steve bring to OSSCube, his 20+ years experience as a successful IT, product development and business transformation Project/Programme Manager, with a wealth of experience across a diverse range of sectors and organisational size. Sasha bring to OSSCube 14+ years of experience and core skills in enterprise architecture, enterprise infrastructure and systems development with extensive knowledge of open-source technologies. Recent experience includes Enterprise Architect (infrastructure-related aspects) on a multi-million pound transition programme at AOL Broadband and implementation of a SaaS offering for a new startup. He is highly valued for his advice in creating an enterprise roadmap for open source adoption. Sasha holds a Masters in Information Systems.

With over 15 years experience Allan has worked on projects for major organisations such as ING, Rabobank, Johnson & Johnson and AOL as an Architect, Technical Team Lead and Developer, delivering systems ranging from high performance web enabled transactional systems to interactive work flow solutions.Recent roles include lead architect for the AOL Broadband online platform and a member of the AOL Broadband architecture team for the transition programme . He has a strong background in database and software development with an affinity for open-source solutions. A Cofounder of OSSCube, Sonali is an Internationally recognized Data Bases expert with 10+ year of hands on experience in complex projects and consulting engagements. Sonali is a well known MySQL Consultant, Developer & Trainer and has the distinction of being Asia’s first Woman Certified MySQL DBA and India’s first MySQL authorized instructor. Sonali’s expertize has been routinely sought out in setting up clusters, optimizing performance of large portals and delivering MySQL training to several Fortune 500 companies. She is regularly invited speaker at leading International conferences and her most recent speaking assignments have included OSSPAC, Singapore; OSI Days, India, International PHP Conference, Germany; National Open Source Conference, India. Pranab brings to OSSCube 15+ years of diverse experience distributed across almost all key functional areas in IT industry including RnD & Academics, Project and Program Management and Business Development. He is currently accountable for leading the customer acquisition and relationship management initiatives of OSSCube in India and the extended footprint in South Asia. He works at continuously raising the bar on customer service excellence with in OSSCube which has earned him the “respectful” title of Customer Advocate. He is also excels in nurturing talent and has been a mentor of choice of many of OSSCube budding leaders and contributed signficantly to evoloving the people development practices of OSSCube. He is also an accomplished singer and guitar player and commands a significant fan club at all parties! He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Application and is a recipient of University’s Gold Medal.

Rakesh Kumar

Lead - Web Applications Practice

Rakesh has 10+ years of experience in working with PHP, MySQL and C++. Rakesh has experienced various stages of the application development cycle including project management, performance tuning, performance optimization, application architecture, database design, program management, build management, QA management and platform management. He has been one of the early adapters of Zend Products and has been effectively using them to bring Operational Maturity in Enterprise PHP Applications. Arinder has being the distinction of being a convert from MS Technologies, where as a Sr. Project Manager he excelled at rolling out a wide variety of enterprize deployments of workflow, business analytics, finance and control systems, till he was commission to lead a team to build a Hospital Information Systems and his long romance with the Health Care application space started, which has seen him evolve as a “Guru” on open standards in the HIS, EHR and EMR domains. He has been responsible for leading many challenging assignments in the Health Care space including the ground up engineering of a CCHIT compliant EHR solution which has since then been rolled out as a widely adopted SaaS offering. Ever the mild mannered boss with little respect for formal qualifications, he is known to command intense loyalty of teams he has worked with.
